Works

Women's Bible Study
This class will study Jill Briscoe’s book Prayer That Works. This group began in the fall with a study on prayer. We will spend the last several weeks of spring studying prayer again. Jill Briscoe is delightful and her messages are always thought provoking and challenging. In this DVD series she uses biblical examples, especially from the lives of Elisha and Elijah, to answer questions about prayer. She helps us to apply what we learn to our prayer life today. Come experience prayer that works.

How to
Recognize
When God
Speaks

Women's Bible Study
Join this class as they study Priscilla Shirer’s book Discerning the Voice of God. God desires a personal relationship with each of us and He speaks directly to us. Sometimes it is hard to discern what God is saying versus what others are saying. Grow closer to God through His Word and become more familiar with the Holy Spirit. The more intimate your relationship with God the clearer His voice will become.

A video and workbook will be used.

Go
Fish

Men's Bible Study
A new Bible study with the video series called “Go Fish” by author/pastor Andy Stanley. Here is how he describes this six week study: Fishing stories. We’ve all heard them. ‘It was this big.’ ‘You should have seen the one that got away.’ People love to tell stories of their fishing adventures. When it comes to faith, however, most people clam up. Why is it we can’t talk about what God has done in our lives as naturally as we can spin fishing tales?

In this six week DVD series, Andy Stanley explores the motivation behind sharing your faith and how it can become a natural part of your life.

Let’s face it; we can all do better in sharing our faith. Not only that, but studies show that 80% of people come to church not because of programs, leadership, or particular worship, but because they were invited. Come then and let us learn together how we might better share our faith.
