| MISSION TRIPS 2008 |
There are still 60 homes to rebuild in D’Iberville, Mississippi. The
D’Iberville Volunteer Foundation is planning to continue operation
through June 2008. Their goal is to complete the homes on their
schedule. We have sent five mission teams to D’Iberville in the past.
A sixth mission is being planned for February 23
through March 2, 2008. Prayerfully consider becoming
a Katrina Mission Volunteer. There are residents returning
to the area and seeing their damaged homes for
the first time. Carpenters, electricians, plumbers, do it
yourselfers, painters, drywallers, and helpers are welcomed.
Please contact Steve Baillie at the church, 810.

Be a Part of the Team!
For those of us that are unable to go on the trips, there is an opportunity to be able to have stock in the 2008 Mission trips. Stock certificates that are suitable for framing are available for anyone that gives either prayer or financial support for these trips. Please see the display at the Welcome Desk. If you have already signed up, you may pick up your certificates at the Welcome Desk. You may also choose to sponsor a missioner through prayer, encourage-ment, and/or financial giving. Please see the Welcome Desk for information about a missioner.
The Mission Team knows that you, the congregation,
will want to support your Missioners in their endeavor. Here
are some of the ways that you can do this. New this year will
be the opportunity to purchase Mission Shares. Mission
Share certificates will be available at the Welcome Desk.
These certificates will be suitable for framing that will show
your support for the mission work of your church. Another
way to support the D’Iberville trips will be to purchase either
Lowes or Home Depot gift cards that can be used to buy materials
for the work that they are doing. A third way to support
the Missioners would be to donate funds to help with the
cost of the trips so that it may increase what they will be able
to do. And of course, the fourth and most important way to
support our Missioners is to pray. Please pray for their
safety, for our Lord’s guidance, and that all they do will help
bring glory to God.
Please drop off your donations to the office with either
Jim Hugan or Steve Baillie.
