GET INVOLVED
Crossover depends on the generosity of the community to continue it's
work. Three downtown churches, First Presbyterian, St. Paul's Episcopal, and Court Street
United Methodist contribute 25% of this outreach ministry's annual financial support.
Local family trusts and foundations provide 20%, civic and service organizations donate
20%, while individual donors provide 35%
We at Crossover, Downtown Outreach Ministry are most grateful for the
many donations of clothing, food, household items (dishes, pots, pans, etc.) and toys.
It is all put to use to help homeless and families living in poverty right here in
our own community.
No one is charged for anything they receive at Crossover.
Volunteers
Crossover, Downtown Outreach Ministry has openings for volunteers . . .
men or women . . . to serve in this ministry to the poor and homeless. If you would like to share your time and talents we'd love to have you join our Corssover volunteer team.
You can schedule your hours at your convenience on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Many Crossover volunteers serve one day a week for a few
hours.
Volunteers are needed to work in the food pantry (packaging food bags),
clothing department (sorting and tagging) or answering the phone.
Gratifying work. Pleasant surroundings.
Please feel free to call 810.234.2479 or visit Crossover.
To Our Special Friends!
The directors, staff and volunteers at Downtown Outreach Ministry extend their heartfelt thanks to the many friends who give so generously their gifts of clothing, food, house wares and money to help carry on the work of this ministry. It is a tremendous encouragement to know so many care about helping others.
Bless you.
