Faith In Flint

7500. What does the number 7500 mean to you?
Well, let me tell you . . . around FPC that 7500 is the number of hours we have been challenged to volunteer during the seasons of Lent and Easter! Last year was 5000, this year 7500, and by God’s grace we will be at work in all the areas of life God leads us to share the love of Christ in word and in deed. In the interview with Dr. Musgrave he talked about disciplines: prayer, fasting, almsgiving. This call to service is part of that almsgiving, a Lenten addition of doing for people in need. To that end you are encouraged to get out and live your faith in the community, and let us know how and where God is leading you to act! Encourage the body of Christ by sharing ways God is using you to share with others. Fill out the pew card—you can keep it anonymous if you would like—so that we might be encouraged to see God at work through this congregation of followers of Christ! Wondering how you can get started? Check out “Volunteer Work Day” down the page!
