Gerholz Center Professional Staff
Andrew Armstrong, M. Div., LMSW, LMFT, is the Director of the Gerholz Center. Andy brings to his work 32 years of experience in psychotherapy, as well as extensive theological training. Andy is a licensed social worker and marriage counselor.
Jerry Walden, M. Div., LMSW, is the full-time staff counselor at the Gerholz Center. Jerry brings 18 years of not only outpatient psychotherapy, but also many years in pastoral ministry.
Barbara Horcha, LMSW, serves as a part-time counselor at the Gerholz Center. Barbara has 35 years of experience and has worked in mental health, school, and hospital settings.
Deborah Olson, MA, is a part-time counselor at the Gerholz Center. Deborah works as a school guidance counselor and is very experienced in child therapy.
Lisa Horne, LMSW, serves as a part-time counselor at the Center. She has worked in a variety of settings and brings that experience to her work at the Gerholz Center. Read more about Lisa here.
Laurie Powell, LMSW, serves part-time at the Center. Laurie is employed full-time at a mental health clinic but volunteers to see clients at the Gerholz Center.
Roberta Hardy, RN, is available to provide a nutritional assessment and counseling as an adjunct to the other counseling provided. Nutritional counseling is offered as part of our commitment to serve the whole person.
Val Eagleson is the Office Manager and Receptionist.
Chris Pocza is the Evening Receptionist.
Their warm and welcoming manner makes visitors and counselees feel comfortable and at ease.
