It’s Kick-Off Sunday and we’re pulling out all the stops!
First, our Neighborhood Breakfast program returns to cafeteria-style service at 8:30AM as we welcome our community to a delicious breakfast together!
Our Chancel Choir will meet for rehearsal at 8:45AM in the choir rehearsal room. Childcare will be available beginning at 8:45 for those singing in the choir!
At 9:30AM, we’re launching our church-wide Faith Formation hour! Children (4-11) will gather in The Grove (third floor); Middle and High School students (12-18) will gather in the Pipe Room (lower level); and all adults will gather in Parish Hall.
Coffee Fellowship will be in our Great Hall from 10:00-10:30 so you can grab a cup of coffee and chat before morning worship begins.
Morning Worship will be at 10:30 and this week we’re including our FPCF Brass Ensemble and Chancel Choir as we kick off this year in thanksgiving to God.
Kick-Off Week continues at FPCF with our annual Gerholz Christian Counseling Center fundraiser banquet! Doors open at 5:30P and dinner will be served at 6:00P with our presentation to start at 7:00P)
This year’s theme is “Know Your Neighbor” and we are excited to welcome our community neighbors: The Rev. Dallas Gatlin (Carriage Town Ministries); Essence Wilson (Communities First, Inc.), and Aaron Rubio (United Community Addiction Network) as our guest panelists who will describe how mental health impacts their communities and efforts.
You can join us in-person or via our livestream which will go live at 6:30P. See you there!
More Kick-Off Week fun continues with our second hosting of FlintSOUP, a local non-profit agency dedicated to supporting small business initiatives.
Join us in Parish Hall at 5:15P (entrance cost $5) for a delicious soup + bread dinner and to hear presentations from local entrepreneurs about their great ideas. Then, cast your vote for your favorite new idea. The winner takes the pot and gets some extra support from FPCF.
Everyone is invited to come and listen and meet others in our community!
Kick-Off Week continues with the launch of Wednesdays@FPCF, a weekly all-ages Faith Formation and community-building event.
For FPCF Kids and Pipe students and their families, come at 5:15PM to The Grove for a delicious meal and time to chat and connect with one another.
For everyone else, join us every Wednesday at 6:00PM for age-specific opportunities for faith formation and spiritual learning.
