Paul describes Christ as our peace—not merely the giver of peace but Peace himself. Christ dismantles hostility, creating one new humanity. Advent peace is social, relational, and communal. It calls us to live as people reconciled, refusing to rebuild the walls Christ has already torn down.

The image of God building us together into a dwelling place for the Spirit is powerful. We become a household where God lives—not as isolated individuals, but as a people knit together. Advent reminds us that peace is something God constructs in us collectively.
